No Meeting July 8th!!!
Hey everyone don't forget there is no DYC meeting July 8th! The meeting after that (July 15th) is the childrens parade!!! YAY! It will be so fun so I hope everyone can come. : ) -AMANDA

Last week (July 1st) I was unable to attend the meeting because I was at a yearbook conference. Today (July 8th) I went to City Hall for the weekly meeting, and found Lance Unwin and Miriam Rasmussen sitting in the lobby, later Ryan Jensen and Carson Lund also came in anticipation of this week's meeting. We were all worried when no one came and the court room door was locked. I had been checking my e-mail all week in anticipation of the usual dyc updates and link to the blog, however I had not recieved one. Let's please communicate with direct e-mails or phone calls, especially when a meeting is to be cancelled, so that people who were unable to attend the previous meeting are not left without important information and updates.

I am so sorry about that.
We have been trying to send out reminder e-mails but Brandon is out of town. We will also try to do that from now on as well.
The reason why we set up the blog is to avoid this very situation though. All announcements are posted here to be checked whenever DYC members like.
Quite a few members don't get the e-mails for one reason or another and we thought this would be the most reliable way to get the word out about any changes, so let's make sure we all get in the habit of checking the blog for updates every week.
